What does the process of cleaning involve? 

We will prepare the area for cleaning. Move garden furniture, pots, bins etc out the way and clear the area of leaves and mess. 

Depending on the condition of your area for cleaning we may apply ALGEX algaecide treatment in advance to make power washing easier and to remove green Algae and Moss from brickwork, block paving and concrete surfaces. Also suitable for Decking. Due to the concentration of the product, ALGEX offers long term protection from surface algae. Surfaces prone to heavy algae build-up. 

If your patio has been left unattended for quite some time and has accumulated a lot of dirt, weeds or moss, the labour involved in cleaning the patio will be more substantial, meaning the job is likely to cost more.

We may also have to use our PREMIUM (TFR) Brilliant for cleaning all hard surfaces including stone and concrete. New non solvent, non acidic and non flammable Heavy Duty Concentrated Cleaner. Active foam boosters, detergents and stabilisers blended within the PREMIUM formula ensure deep cleaning is achieved every time. PREMIUM is highly concentrated and may also be used to clean machinery, floors, including stone, walls and asphalt. Ideal on workshop floors and petrol stations or anywhere with oily residues.

Cleaning will involve using a pressure washer to remove stains, weeds, algae and moss. This process may remove joint filler, Sand or Joint It. Once cleaned we can refill joints with Kiln Dried Sand or Joint It if required. Ask for a quote if required. 

Sealing your patio with a sealant to protect the patio surface from the constant weather damage it will be subjected to outside. Sealant can reinvigorate your patio's colour and overall appeal as well as keeping the condition of your patio up to scratch. The sealant will fade over time and it is recommended you reseal your patio every three to five years or after cleaning depending on the overall condition of the patio. Ask for a quote if required.
