TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Window Cleaning Services
The boring stuff. Please have a read.
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between the customer “you” and Solway Cleaning Services for the provision of window cleaning services. By booking or paying for our services, you agree to the following:
1. Service Provision
1.1. External window cleaning on the arranged expected dates.
1.2. We request that no obstruction be near any windows to ensure an effective clean.
1.3. If your windows are not accessible the clean may be forfeited without refund.
2. Payment Terms
2.1. Payment is required in advance on a monthly basis. Invoices will be sent on or around the 1st of each month.
2.2. Payment is due within 5 days of the invoice date.
2.3. Payment is non-refundable but cleans will be carried over in the event of missed services (see Section 3).
2.4. Service will not commence until full payment has been received. If your scheduled cleaning date falls between the 1st and 7th of the month, please ensure that your invoice is settled immediately to avoid any delays in service.
3. Missed Cleans
3.1. Occasionally, cleans may be missed due to: Severe weather conditions, staff illness, injury or staff holidays.
3.2. In these cases, your clean will be carried forward to the next scheduled visit.
3.3. Any prepaid cleans that are missed will be credited toward your next scheduled cleaning.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1. You are responsible for ensuring all windows are closed at the property.
4.2. If access is blocked (e.g. locked gates, parked vehicles, dogs on premises), the clean may be forfeited without refund.
4.3. Ensure no hazardous at the property so cleans can be carried out safely.
5. Liability
5.1. While all reasonable care will be taken, we are not responsible for damage to any property that arises from normal cleaning methods.
5.2. We accept no liability for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from the service.
6. Termination of Service
6.1. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time.
6.2. If you terminate before all prepaid cleans have been completed, no refunds will be issued, but cleans may be transferred to another household by agreement.
7. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers in advance.
